5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SURKER hair clipper.

5.1 Cleaning the Blades

  1. Turn off the clipper and unplug it from the charger.
  2. Remove the guide comb attachment.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush to brush away any loose hairs from the blades and the clipper body.
  4. The clipper head is washable. You can rinse the blades under running water. Do not immerse the entire unit in water.
  5. Allow the blades to air dry completely before reattaching the comb or storing.

5.2 Lubricating the Blades

After every few uses, or if the clipper feels sluggish, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades. Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. This helps maintain blade sharpness and smooth operation.

5.3 Storage

Store the clipper in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your SURKER HC-7068 Hair Clipper, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Clipper does not turn on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check if the charging cable is properly connected.
  • Clipper pulls hair or cuts unevenly: The blades might be dull or clogged with hair. Clean and lubricate the blades as per maintenance instructions. Ensure the guide comb is securely attached.
  • Reduced battery life: Ensure the clipper is charged for the full 8 hours. Over time, rechargeable batteries may lose capacity.
