3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

Connect the included 9V DC power supply to the 9V DC input jack on the rear of the BigSky pedal. Ensure the power supply meets the specified voltage and current requirements (9V DC, 500mA minimum) to prevent damage to the unit.

3.2 Audio Connections

The BigSky supports both mono and stereo operation. Use high-quality instrument cables for all audio connections.

• Mono Setup: Connect your instrument or the output of your preceding pedal to the 'LEFT IN' jack. Connect the 'LEFT OUT' jack to your amplifier or the next pedal in your signal chain.
• Stereo Setup: Connect your stereo source (e.g., stereo output from another pedal) to the 'LEFT IN' and 'RIGHT IN' jacks. Connect the 'LEFT OUT' and 'RIGHT OUT' jacks to your stereo amplifier setup or audio interface.

4. Operating the BigSky

4.1 Controls Overview

The BigSky features a user-friendly interface with dedicated knobs and switches for intuitive control over your reverb sounds.

• TYPE Knob: Selects one of the 12 unique reverb algorithms (Room, Hall, Plate, Spring, Swell, Bloom, Cloud, Chorale, Shimmer, Magneto, Nonlinear, Reflections).
• VALUE Knob: Adjusts the primary parameter for the selected reverb type. Push to access secondary parameters.
• DECAY Knob: Controls the length of the reverb tail.
• PRE-DELAY Knob: Sets the time before the reverb effect begins.
• MIX Knob: Blends the dry instrument signal with the wet reverb effect.
• LOW DAMP / HIGH DAMP Knobs: Adjust the damping of low and high frequencies within the reverb tail.
• PARAM 1 / PARAM 2 / MOD Knobs: Control additional parameters specific to each reverb type, offering deep sound sculpting capabilities.

4.2 Footswitch Functions

• Footswitch A (BANK DOWN): Toggles the effect on/off. When in preset mode, cycles down through banks of presets.
• Footswitch B (BANK UP): Toggles the effect on/off. When in preset mode, cycles up through banks of presets.
• Footswitch C (SAVE): Toggles the effect on/off. Hold to save the current preset.

4.3 Saving and Recalling Presets

To save a preset, adjust the knobs to your desired sound, then press and hold Footswitch C until the display confirms the save. To recall a preset, use Footswitches A and B to navigate through the banks. The display will show the preset number and name.
