Setup
Assembly of the Ingenuity Keep Cozy 3-in-1 Bouncer Seat is straightforward. Follow the included instructions for connecting the frame components. A screwdriver is required for battery installation in the vibration unit.
Operating Modes
Bouncer Mode
For infants up to 20 lbs (9 kgs). In this mode, the seat provides a gentle bouncing motion, often activated by the baby's own movements or a parent's gentle push.
Rocker Mode
For children up to 40 lbs (18 kgs). The seat can be set to rock back and forth, providing a soothing motion for your child.
Stationary Seat Mode
For children up to 40 lbs (18 kgs). Utilize the kickstand at the rear of the chair to convert it into a stable, stationary seat for toddlers.
Vibration Feature
The seat includes a vibration unit to help soothe your child. Insert 1 C battery (not included) into the designated compartment. Press the button on the unit to activate or deactivate vibrations.
Adjustments
- Reclining Positions: The seat offers two reclining positions for optimal comfort. Adjust as needed for your child's age and preference.
- Removable Infant Bolster: A cozy infant bolster provides extra support for newborns. This can be easily removed as your baby grows.
- Adjustable 5-Point Harness: The harness can be adjusted to securely fit your growing child. Ensure straps are snug but comfortable.
- Removable Toy Bar: The overhead toy bar with a plush bunny toy can be easily removed or swiveled out of the way for easy access to your child.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your bouncer seat.
- Seat Pad/Bolster/Headrest: Remove from frame. Fasten buckles on seat restraint and seat pad. Fasten all hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
- Toy Bar and Toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
- Frame: Wipe the frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
Troubleshooting
- Vibrations not working: Check if the C battery is inserted correctly and is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Seat not rocking/bouncing properly: Ensure the kickstand is in the correct position for the desired mode. Check for any obstructions under the frame.
- Harness too tight/loose: Adjust the harness straps as described in the 'Adjustments' section to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
