Setup and Installation Guide
Before You Begin
Gather a ladder, an extra person for assistance, and any tools suggested in the printed instructions. Ensure you have the correct light bulbs (E26 Medium base, 100 watts max).

Step-by-Step Installation
1. Disconnect Power
Locate your main circuit breaker panel or fuse box and turn off the power to the area where you will be installing the pendant. Use a non-contact voltage tester to confirm the wiring is safely disconnected from power.
2. Remove Existing Fixture (if applicable)
Carefully remove any existing light fixture from the ceiling.
3. Attach Mounting Bracket
Secure the new mounting bracket to the junction box on your ceiling using the provided screws.
4. Thread Wires
Thread the fixture wires up through the mounting box and the mounting bracket.
5. Determine Hanging Height
Depending on whether your fixture will hang over a table or in the center of a space, determine the proper hanging height. Refer to the printed instructions for specific guidance on chain length.
6. Connect Electrical Wires
Connect the ground wire (typically bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the ceiling.
Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the ceiling.
Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the ceiling.
Secure all connections with wire nuts. Carefully tuck any excess wire into the junction box, ensuring it is not pinched.
7. Secure Canopy
Raise the canopy to the ceiling and secure it with the included mounting hardware.

8. Add Shade and Bulb
Carefully secure the glass shade to the fixture. Install the appropriate light bulb (E26 Medium base, 100 watts max, not included) into the socket.

9. Restore Power
Turn the electricity back on at the breaker box. Turn on your new Kichler Everly pendant.
Operation
Once installed and powered, operate your Kichler Everly pendant using your wall switch or remote control (if applicable and purchased separately).
Care and Maintenance
- Turn off the fixture before cleaning.
- Remove the shade if possible.
- Wipe down the glass and all metal surfaces with a lint-free cloth.
- Avoid abrasive materials, cleaners, or products containing ammonia or alcohol, as these can damage the fixture's coating.
Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on: Ensure power is restored at the breaker, the wall switch is on, and the bulb is correctly installed and not burnt out. Check all wire connections.
- Light flickers: Verify bulb is securely tightened. Check for loose wire connections.
- Fixture hangs crooked: Ensure the mounting bracket is level and securely fastened to the junction box. Adjust the swivel set screw if applicable (refer to the 'Everly Installation Tips Video' above).
