5. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the Capture Clip and camera plate for any signs of wear or damage.
- Ensure all screws are tightened securely before each use.
- Clean the clip and plate with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Store the clip in a dry, clean environment when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Camera feels loose in the clip:
- Ensure the camera plate is fully inserted until it clicks.
- Verify the plate is tightly secured to your camera body using the hex wrench.
- Check that the Capture Clip itself is tightly clamped to your strap or belt.
6.2 Difficulty attaching the clip to a thick strap:
- The Capture Clip is designed for straps up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide and 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) thick. If your strap exceeds these dimensions, the clip may not fit properly.
- Ensure the thumbscrews are fully unscrewed to allow maximum opening for the strap.
