1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Installation

The TL01 T-Latch is designed for easy installation on all square posts and gate frames. Its dual adjustability allows for vertical and horizontal alignment to ensure a secure gate closure.

3. Operation

The T-Latch operates with a simple toggle action. To open the gate, lift the latch bolt vertically. To close, simply swing the gate shut, and the latch bolt will automatically engage with the strike plate.

5. Troubleshooting

• Gate Not Latching Securely:
  • Check for proper alignment. The T-Latch is vertically and horizontally adjustable. Loosen mounting screws slightly, adjust the latch components for optimal engagement, and then re-tighten.
  • Inspect for gate sag or ground movement. The T-Latch is designed to accommodate these, but extreme movement may require gate adjustments.
• Latch Opening Unexpectedly (e.g., due to wind):
