1. Product Overview

The Leitmotiv LM924 Floor Lamp, also known as the Rubi floor lamp, features a unique combination of metal, white finish, and wood accents. Standing at 150cm tall, this lamp is designed to provide versatile lighting for your space. It includes a 190cm black PVC cable with an integrated switch for convenient operation. The lamp accommodates two E14 light sources (not included), each with a maximum wattage of 28W. Both lampshades have a diameter of 17.5cm, allowing for focused or ambient illumination.

2. Safety Instructions

Please read all safety instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Ensure the power supply is disconnected before assembly, cleaning, or replacing light bulbs.
• This lamp is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Use only E14 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 28W. Exceeding the maximum wattage may cause overheating and damage.
• Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the lamp beyond what is described in this manual.
• Keep the lamp away from flammable materials.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Always place the lamp on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.

4. Setup and Assembly

The Leitmotiv LM924 Floor Lamp is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach Base: Connect the lower pole section to the lamp base. Ensure the cable passes through the designated opening in the base. Secure tightly by rotating the pole or using provided screws if applicable.

3. Connect Pole Sections: Join the upper pole section (with lamp arms) to the lower pole section. Twist clockwise until securely fastened. Ensure the internal wiring is not pinched.
4. Attach Lampshades: Carefully screw each lampshade onto its respective lamp arm. Do not overtighten.

5. Install Light Bulbs: Insert two E14 light bulbs (max 28W each) into the sockets. Ensure they are screwed in firmly but gently.
6. Position Lamp: Place the assembled lamp on a stable, flat surface. Ensure the power cable is not a tripping hazard and is not pinched by furniture.

5. Operating Instructions

The Leitmotiv LM924 Floor Lamp is simple to operate:

• Power Connection: Plug the lamp's electrical cable into a standard 230V wall outlet.
• Turning On/Off: The lamp features an in-line switch located on the PVC cable, approximately 190cm from the lamp base. Press the switch to turn the lamp on or off.
• Adjusting Light Direction: The two lampshades are adjustable. Gently pivot each lampshade to direct light as desired, whether for reading, ambient lighting, or accentuating a specific area.
• Bulb Replacement: To replace a bulb, first unplug the lamp from the power outlet. Allow the old bulb to cool completely. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E14 bulb (max 28W).

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your lamp:

• Cleaning: Disconnect the lamp from the power supply before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the metal and wood surfaces. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
• Dusting: Regularly dust the lampshades and bulbs to maintain optimal light output.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cable for any signs of damage, fraying, or kinks. If damage is found, discontinue use and contact a qualified electrician or the manufacturer for repair.
