2. Safety Information

Always observe basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Read and understand all instructions before operating this product.

General Safety Warnings:

  • Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
  • Electrical Safety: Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
  • Personal Safety: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and a dust mask when necessary.
  • Secure Workpiece: Always clamp or secure the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the workpiece by hand or against your body can lead to loss of control and injury.
  • Avoid Accidental Starting: Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to a power source, picking up or carrying the tool.
  • Maintain Tool: Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
  • Blade Handling: Blades are sharp. Handle them with care. Always disconnect the power source before changing blades.
