The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes several hours. Once charged, the device is ready for cordless operation.

4.2 Adjusting Fabric Guard (3 Heights)

The MPM LR-027-86 features an adjustable fabric guard with 3 height settings to protect different fabric types. Rotate the fabric guard to select the appropriate height:

  • Low Setting: For delicate fabrics or light pilling.
  • Medium Setting: For general use on most fabrics.
  • High Setting: For thick fabrics or heavy pilling.

Choose the setting that allows the blades to effectively remove lint without damaging the fabric.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing the Fabric

Lay the garment or fabric flat on a hard, smooth surface. Stretch the fabric taut to ensure a smooth surface for the lint remover to glide over. This prevents the fabric from being caught in the blades.

  1. Ensure the lint remover is charged.
  2. Select the appropriate fabric guard height (refer to Section 4.2).
  3. Press the On/Off power button to start the device.
  4. Gently glide the blade cover over the pilled or lint-covered area of the fabric. Use light, even pressure.
  5. Move the device in small, circular motions or straight strokes, ensuring you cover the entire affected area.
  6. Periodically check the lint collection compartment and empty it when it becomes full (refer to Section 6.1).
  7. Once finished, press the On/Off power button to turn off the device.

The 3W motor provides efficient lint removal for various fabric types, including wool, coats, and sweaters.
