Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment located on the underside of the scale.
  2. Insert the two included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

2. Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy. Avoid placing it near strong electromagnetic fields or areas with significant temperature fluctuations.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button (Power button icon) to turn the scale on. The display will show "88888" then "0.0g".
  • Press and hold the Power button to turn the scale off.
  • The scale features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery power if inactive for a period.

2. Unit Conversion

Press the MODE button (M) to cycle through the available weighing units: grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweight (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn).

3. Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the weight of the contents is measured.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the TARE button (T). The display will reset to "0.0g".
  3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.

4. Counting Function (PCS)

The PCS function allows you to count a large number of small, uniform items.

  1. Turn on the scale and wait for it to stabilize at "0.0g".
  2. Press and hold the COUNT button (C) until "PCS" appears on the display.
  3. Press the MODE button (M) to select a sample size (e.g., 25, 50, 75, 100 pieces).
  4. Place the exact number of sample items (e.g., 25 pieces) onto the platform.
  5. Press the COUNT button (C) again. The display will show the count of the sample.
  6. You can now add more items, and the scale will display the total count.
  7. To exit counting mode, press the COUNT button (C) again.

5. General Weighing

Place the item(s) directly onto the weighing platform or into a tared container. Ensure items are centered and do not exceed the maximum capacity of 600g. The blue LCD backlight display ensures easy readability in various lighting conditions.

Calibration

Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. A 500g calibration weight (not included) is recommended for this process.

  1. Turn the scale on.
  2. Press and hold the MODE button (M) until "CAL" appears, then release.
  3. Press the MODE button (M) again. The display will flash the required calibration weight (e.g., "500.0g").
  4. Place the specified calibration weight (e.g., 500g) onto the center of the weighing platform.
  5. Wait for the display to show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode.
  6. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight.

Maintenance
