2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the underblanket from its packaging.
- Placement: Lay the underblanket flat on your mattress. Ensure it is spread evenly and not folded or creased. The underblanket should be placed directly on the mattress, underneath your fitted sheet.
- Connect Control Units: Connect the control units to the underblanket. Ensure the connectors are firmly inserted.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cords of the control units into suitable electrical outlets.
- Cover with Sheet: Place your fitted sheet over the underblanket and mattress.

5. Operating Instructions
Each side of the underblanket is controlled independently by its own control unit.
- Switching On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control unit. The display will illuminate.
- Setting Temperature:
- Use the body temperature button to select a temperature level for the body zone (1-9).
- Use the foot temperature button to select a temperature level for the foot zone (1-9).
- Level 1 is the lowest heat, Level 9 is the highest.
- Rapid Heating (Turbo Function): For quick pre-heating, select a higher temperature level (e.g., 9). The underblanket will reach its desired temperature in approximately 15 minutes.
- Setting the Timer:
- Press the timer button to adjust the operating time.
- The timer can be set in 1-hour increments.
- The underblanket will automatically switch off after the set time.
- EcoControl Display: The display shows the current kWh consumption, allowing you to monitor energy usage.
- Automatic Safety Shut-off: The Beurer Safety System (BSS) automatically switches off the underblanket in case of overheating. Additionally, temperature levels 7, 8, and 9 will automatically reset to level 6 after 3 hours of continuous operation.
- Switching Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to switch off the underblanket. The display will turn off. Always unplug the unit from the wall socket when not in use for extended periods.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper care ensures the longevity and hygiene of your heated underblanket.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the underblanket from the power outlet and disconnect the control units from the underblanket. Allow it to cool down completely.
- Machine Washing:
- The underblanket is machine washable up to 30°C (gentle cycle).
- Use a mild detergent.
- Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or tumble dry.
- Hand Washing: If preferred, the underblanket can be hand washed in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
- Drying:
- Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Hang the underblanket to air dry completely. Do not use clothespins directly on the heating wires.
- Ensure the underblanket is completely dry before reconnecting the control units and using it again.
- Storage: When not in use, store the underblanket in a clean, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on it to prevent damage to the heating elements.
