Operating the Machine
Making Coffee:
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the bean hopper contains coffee beans.
- Place a cup or two cups under the coffee spouts.

- Press the button for your desired beverage (e.g., Espresso, Coffee). The machine will grind the beans, brew, and dispense the coffee.

Preparing Milk Beverages (Latte Macchiato):
The Saeco Lirika Macchiato is equipped to prepare milk-based beverages. Ensure the milk carafe or frothing system is clean and properly connected.

- Fill the milk carafe with fresh, cold milk.

Descaling:
The machine will prompt you when descaling is required. Use only Saeco descaling solution. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling solution and the machine's on-screen prompts carefully.
- Empty the water tank and grounds container.
- Pour the Saeco descaling solution into the water tank, then fill with fresh water up to the indicated level.
- Place a large container under the coffee spout and steam wand.
- Start the descaling cycle as prompted by the machine. The cycle typically involves several rinsing phases.
- After the descaling solution has been dispensed, rinse the water tank and fill it with fresh water for the final rinse cycles.
- Perform several rinse cycles with fresh water to ensure all descaling solution is removed.
