Maintenance
Lamp Replacement:
The projector lamp has a limited lifespan. When the lamp indicator on the projector turns orange or flashes, or the image becomes dim, it may be time to replace the lamp. Refer to the full service manual for detailed lamp replacement instructions.
- Always allow the projector to cool down completely before attempting lamp replacement.
- Use only genuine Epson replacement lamps to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Air Filter Cleaning/Replacement:
The air filter prevents dust from entering the projector and affecting performance. Clean the air filter regularly (e.g., every 100 hours of use) or replace it if it becomes heavily clogged.
- Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord before cleaning.
- Locate the air filter cover, remove it, and gently clean the filter with a small vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
- Replace the filter and cover securely.
Cleaning the Projector:
- Exterior: Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a cloth lightly dampened with water and a mild detergent, then wipe dry.
- Lens: Gently wipe the projector lens with a lens cleaning cloth designed for optical surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.
