2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Battery Installation
The display unit requires 3 'AA' alkaline batteries. The wireless outdoor sensor requires 2 'AA' alkaline or lithium batteries (lithium recommended for temperatures below -4°F/-20°C). Batteries are not included.
- Remove the battery compartment cover from both the display unit and the outdoor sensor.
- Insert batteries according to the polarity diagrams (+/-) inside the compartments.
- Replace the battery compartment covers.

2.3 Wireless Sensor Placement
For optimal performance, place the wireless sensor in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. Direct sunlight can cause inaccurate temperature readings. The sensor features a weather-resistant casing and an integrated hanger for easy setup.
- Hang the sensor from a tree branch or a nail on a fence/post using the integrated hanger.
- Ensure the sensor is within 100 feet (30 meters) of the display unit.

2.4 Initial Synchronization
After battery installation, the display unit will automatically search for the wireless sensor signal. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display.
2.5 Intelli-Time Clock and Calendar Setting
The Intelli-Time clock automatically updates for Daylight Saving Time and remembers settings during power outages. It displays the current time, date, and day of the month.
2.6 Units of Measure
The display unit can show temperature in Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C). Refer to the instruction manual for specific button presses to toggle between units.

3.3 Viewing Historical Records
The device automatically cycles through 12-hour, 24-hour, 36-hour, 48-hour, and all-time high/low records for temperature and humidity. You can also manually cycle through these records by pressing the appropriate button (refer to your included instruction manual for specific button functions).
3.4 Temperature Trend Arrows
Trend arrows indicate whether the temperature is rising, falling, or remaining steady, providing a quick overview of recent changes.
3.5 Wireless Signal Indicator
A signal strength indicator on the display shows the connection status between the display unit and the wireless sensor.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in both the display unit and the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a set with new ones.
4.2 Clearing Records
To clear historical high/low records, locate the 'RECORDS - hold to clear' button inside the battery compartment of the display unit. Press and hold this button for a few seconds to reset the records.
4.3 Cleaning Instructions
Wipe the display and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals that may damage the device.

- Display Not Working: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh. If using an AC adapter (not included with this model), ensure it is properly connected.
- Intermittent Signal Loss: Relocate the outdoor sensor or display unit to minimize interference from large metal surfaces, thick walls, or other electronic devices.
