1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper use and maintenance of your Kingone K5 Bluetooth Speaker. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The Kingone K5 is a portable wireless speaker featuring Bluetooth connectivity, TF card playback, AUX input, and hands-free calling capabilities.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the K5 speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off (refer to the LED indicator section in the APP manual for specific behavior).
4. A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of playback at 50% volume.

4.2. Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button located on the rear panel until you hear a voice prompt.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the device shuts down.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the K5 speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a voice prompt).
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Kingone K5" from the list of found devices.
4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation voice prompt. The speaker is now ready to play audio from your device.

5.2. TF Card Playback

1. Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with MP3 audio files into the TF Card slot on the rear panel.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing music. If it does not switch automatically, press the "MODE" button on the top panel to cycle through modes until TF card mode is activated.
3. Use the touch controls for playback (play/pause, next/previous track).

5.3. AUX Input

1. Connect one end of the supplied audio cable to the "LINE IN" port on the rear of the K5 speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.
3. Press the "MODE" button on the top panel to cycle through modes until AUX mode is activated.
4. Control playback and volume from your connected audio device.

5.4. Hands-free Calling

• When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the K5 speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
• Answering/Ending Calls: When an incoming call is received, press the Play/Pause button (central button) on the top panel to answer. Press it again to end the call.
• Auto-Answer Function: To enable or disable the auto-answer function, press and hold the "MODE" button. When enabled, incoming calls will be answered automatically after 3 seconds, freeing your hands.

5.5. Touch Controls

The top panel features sensitive touch controls for various functions:

• Central Ring: Rotate your finger clockwise or counter-clockwise around the central illuminated ring to adjust the volume.
• Play/Pause Button (Central): Press to play or pause audio. Also used to answer/end calls.
• Previous Track Button (<<): Press to go to the previous track.
• Next Track Button (>>): Press to go to the next track.
• MODE Button: Press to cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, TF Card, AUX).

5.6. APP Functions (KINGONE Bluetooth Assistant)

For enhanced functionality, download the "KINGONE Bluetooth Assistant" app from your device's app store (compatible with Apple, HTC, Samsung, Meizu, Nokia, Xiaomi, and iPad devices).

The app provides the following features:

• Cloud Alarm Clock: Set unique alarms that function even if your phone and audio are fully shut down.
• Cloud Player: Access and experience network radio.
• Local Player: Play songs stored on your phone directly through the app.

6. Maintenance

• Keep the speaker away from water and excessive moisture, despite being listed as waterproof, to prevent damage.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. No Power

• Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB cable.
• Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a short press.

7.2. Cannot Pair via Bluetooth

• Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
• Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within 10 meters of the speaker.
• If previously paired, try unpairing "Kingone K5" from your device's Bluetooth list and then re-pairing.
• Restart both the speaker and your Bluetooth device.

7.3. No Sound

• Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, TF Card, AUX) is selected on the speaker.
• If using AUX, ensure the audio cable is securely connected to both devices.
• If using a TF card, ensure the card is inserted correctly and contains playable audio files.

7.4. Poor Sound Quality

• Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference.
• Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and the Bluetooth device.
• Check the audio source quality.
