3. Setup and Assembly

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Starting the Engine:
    • Place the trimmer on a flat, stable surface.
    • Engage the choke (if cold start).
    • Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible.
    • Pull the starter cord with a firm, steady motion. The Soft Start function assists in easier starting.
    • Once the engine fires, disengage the choke.

  2. Trimming Technique:
    • Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, maintaining a balanced stance.
    • Use the carrying strap to distribute the weight and reduce fatigue.
    • Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion, cutting grass and weeds.
    • Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks, fences, or trees, as this can damage the line or the trimmer head.
  3. Line Extension (Tap 'n' Go):
    • When the cutting line becomes short, gently tap the trimmer head against the ground while the engine is running at full throttle.
    • The Tap 'n' Go system will automatically extend a new section of line.
  4. Stopping the Engine:
    • Release the throttle trigger.
    • Press the automatic start/stop switch to the "STOP" position.
    • Allow the engine to cool down before storing.

5. Maintenance
