Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your XtremepowerUS 55cc 2-Stroke Gas Ice Auger. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the equipment to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.
The XtremepowerUS 55cc Gas Ice Auger is designed for drilling holes in ice for fishing and other related activities. It features a powerful 2-stroke engine and is compatible with a 10-inch auger bit.
Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions can result in serious injury or death.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and heavy-duty gloves.
- Ensure the work area is clear of bystanders, especially children and pets.
- Never operate the auger indoors or in poorly ventilated areas due to carbon monoxide fumes.
- Handle fuel with extreme care. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke while refueling.
- Inspect the auger for loose parts, damage, or wear before each use. Tighten all bolts and nuts.
- Maintain a firm grip on the handles during operation. Be prepared for sudden movements if the auger binds.
- Do not operate the auger if you are fatigued, under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
- Keep hands and feet away from the rotating auger bit.
- Store the auger in a secure location, out of reach of children.

Fuel Mixture
This is a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 25:1 (Gasoline:Oil). Always use fresh fuel and a high-quality 2-stroke oil designed for air-cooled engines.
- Mix fuel in a separate, approved fuel container.
- Shake the container well before filling the auger's fuel tank.
- Do not use E85 gasoline or any fuel containing more than 10% ethanol.

Operation
Starting the Engine:
- Place the auger on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure the ignition switch is in the "ON" position.
- Engage the choke (if cold start).
- Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible.
- Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and steadily until the engine starts. Do not pull the rope to its full extension.
- Once the engine starts, gradually disengage the choke. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments.
Drilling an Ice Hole:
- Hold the auger firmly with both hands, maintaining balance.
- Position the auger bit vertically over the desired drilling spot.
- Slowly engage the throttle to begin drilling. Apply steady, downward pressure.
- Allow the auger to do the work. Do not force it.
- As the auger drills through the ice, maintain control and be prepared for the bit to break through.
- Once the hole is drilled, release the throttle and allow the auger bit to stop rotating before lifting the unit from the hole.
Stopping the Engine:
Move the ignition switch to the "OFF" position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your auger.
- After Each Use:
- Clean the auger bit and powerhead of ice, snow, and debris.
- Inspect the auger blades for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged blades.
- Check all bolts and nuts for tightness. Tighten as necessary.
- Fuel System:
- Drain the fuel tank and carburetor if storing for an extended period (over 30 days) to prevent fuel degradation.
- Alternatively, use a fuel stabilizer.
- Air Filter:
- Periodically clean or replace the air filter to ensure proper engine breathing.
- Spark Plug:
- Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace if worn or fouled.
