4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Rear-Facing Installation
Use for children weighing between 5 and 40 pounds. Ensure the car seat is reclined to the appropriate angle for your child's age and weight. The car seat offers multiple recline positions.
- Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in the rear-facing position.
- Locate the LATCH connectors on the car seat and attach them to your vehicle's lower anchors. Alternatively, route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated rear-facing belt path.

4.2 Forward-Facing Installation

- Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in the forward-facing position.
