The Safariland 7378 7TS ALS Paddle and Belt Loop Combo Holster is designed for everyday concealed carry, offering a lightweight and durable solution for securing your firearm. It features the Automatic Locking System (ALS) for quick and secure retention, along with a non-abrasive SafariSeven nylon-blend material that protects the firearm's finish.

This holster is compatible with GLOCK 17, 22, and 31 models and is designed for right-hand use. It includes both a paddle attachment for easy on/off and a belt loop attachment for a more secure fit, accommodating various belt widths.

Setup and Installation

The Safariland 7378 holster comes with both a paddle and a belt loop attachment. Choose the attachment method that best suits your carry preference.

Attaching the Paddle

  1. Ensure the holster is empty and clear of any firearm.
  2. Align the paddle attachment with the mounting holes on the back of the holster.
  3. Secure the paddle using the provided screws and hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly to prevent movement.
  4. To wear, slide the paddle over your waistband and inside your pants, ensuring the retention lip catches the bottom edge of your belt. The paddle fits belt widths up to 1.75 inches (45mm).

Attaching the Belt Loop

  1. Ensure the holster is empty and clear of any firearm.
  2. Align the belt loop attachment with the mounting holes on the back of the holster.
  3. Secure the belt loop using the provided screws and hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly.
  4. To wear, thread your belt through the belt loop. The belt loop fits belt widths from 1.5 inches (38mm) to 1.75 inches (45mm).

Operating Instructions

Holstering Your Firearm

  1. Ensure your firearm is in a safe condition.
  2. Insert the firearm into the holster. You will hear and feel a positive click as the Automatic Locking System (ALS) engages, securing the firearm in place.

Drawing Your Firearm (ALS System)

The ALS system provides a secure retention level while allowing for a quick and smooth draw with proper technique.

  1. Grip the firearm firmly with your dominant hand.
  2. Place your thumb naturally over the top of the holster, pressing down on the ALS release lever located on the inside of the holster.
  3. While maintaining pressure on the release lever, draw the firearm straight up and out of the holster.
