The Seasonal Adjust feature allows you to scale watering times up or down as seasons change, without reprogramming each station. Turn the dial to Seasonal Adjust % and use the arrow buttons to set the desired percentage (e.g., 100% for peak summer, lower percentages for cooler months).

4.2 Solar Sync ET Sensor Compatibility

The X-Core can be converted into a smart controller by integrating with a Solar Sync ET Sensor (sold separately). This sensor automatically adjusts irrigation run times based on locally measured weather conditions, including rain and freezing temperatures, helping to conserve water.

4.3 Cycle & Soak

The Cycle & Soak feature allows for gradual water absorption, reducing runoff on compacted or sloped areas. This feature is programmable within the watering schedules to optimize water usage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Quick Check Diagnostics

The Quick Check feature simplifies troubleshooting field wiring issues. It scans the station wiring and displays an "err" message on the LCD screen if a short circuit is detected on a particular station number. This helps in quickly identifying and resolving wiring problems.

5.2 Power Outages

The X-Core controller is equipped with non-volatile memory, which retains the current program data, date, and time settings during power outages. This ensures that your irrigation schedule remains intact without requiring reprogramming after power is restored.
