Adjusting the Mesh Band

  1. Open the Safety Clasp: Locate the small lever on the top of the main clasp. Lift this lever to open the safety clasp.
  2. Unlock the Adjustable Clasp: Using a small, flat tool (such as a small screwdriver or a paperclip), gently pry up the locking plate on the underside of the main clasp. This will release the adjustable part of the clasp.
  3. Slide to Adjust: Slide the adjustable clasp along the mesh band to achieve the desired length. Ensure the watch fits snugly but comfortably on your wrist.
  4. Secure the Adjustable Clasp: Once the desired position is found, press the locking plate back down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is fully closed to prevent accidental slipping.
  5. Close the Safety Clasp: Close the safety clasp over the main clasp until it clicks securely.

Operating Your Watch

Basic Timekeeping

Your Skagen Anita watch is a quartz movement timepiece, providing accurate time display with its three-hand analog movement. Once the time is set, the watch will continuously display the current time.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant up to 30 meters (100 feet) or 3 ATM. This rating means the watch is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving, as prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water activities may compromise the water resistance seals.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the mesh band, a slightly damp cloth can be used to remove dirt, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by one Lithium Metal battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance and proper functioning of the watch are maintained.

Storage

When not in use, store your watch in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keeping it in its original packaging or a watch box can help protect it from dust and scratches.
