  • To Turn On/Off: Press the power button once for momentary on, or press and hold for constant on. Press again to turn off.
  • Standard Modes (General Function Set):
    • 1 Click: Full Power (625 Lumens)
    • 2 Clicks: Low Power
    • 3 Clicks: Eco Mode (Extended run time up to 117 hours)
  • Advanced Function Sets: The ML300L offers multiple function sets (General, Outdoor, Law Enforcement, Tactical) that can be programmed to customize the click sequence for different modes (Momentary, Full Power, Low Power, ECO, Strobe). Refer to the official Maglite website or included documentation for detailed programming instructions for these advanced sets.

Focus Adjustment

The flashlight features an advanced focus system, allowing adjustment from a spot beam to a flood beam.

  • To adjust the beam, rotate the head of the flashlight less than a quarter turn.
  • Turning the head clockwise or counter-clockwise will transition the beam from a narrow spot to a wide flood, or vice versa.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all three D-cell batteries simultaneously when the light output diminishes significantly. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
  • O-Rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries if storing for more than a few weeks to prevent corrosion.
