1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your De'Longhi Dragon Oil-Filled Radiator 2000W. 2. Important Safety Instructions

• Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
• Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.
• Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.
• Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface.
• Keep combustible materials such as furniture, curtains, and other flammable items at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front and sides of the heater.
• Do not cover the heater. Overheating may occur.
• Supervise children and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities when the appliance is in use.
• Ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Wheel Deployment

1. Carefully remove the radiator from its packaging.
2. The wheels are pre-assembled and folded for transport. Gently unfold them until they click into place, ensuring the radiator is stable on a flat surface.

4.2 Initial Use and Odor Dissipation

During the first few hours of operation, the heater may emit a slight odor. This is normal and harmless, caused by the protective oils used during manufacturing. To dissipate this odor:

• Operate the heater at maximum power for approximately 2 hours in a well-ventilated area, preferably near an open window.
• Ensure the room is adequately ventilated during this period.

4.3 Placement

• Place the radiator on a stable, level surface.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter (3 feet) from walls, furniture, and other objects to ensure proper air circulation and prevent fire hazards.
• Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

1. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V).
2. To turn on the radiator, select the desired power level using the power selection switches on the control panel.
3. To turn off the radiator, switch off all power switches and unplug the appliance from the mains.

5.2 Adjusting Temperature and Power

• Thermostat Control: Rotate the thermostat dial to set your desired room temperature. The dial typically ranges from 1 (minimum heat) to 6 (maximum heat). The radiator will automatically cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
• Power Settings: Use the power switches to select the heating output:
  • MIN (900W): For gentle, continuous heating or smaller rooms.
  • MED (1100W): For moderate heating.
  • MAX (2000W): For rapid heating or larger rooms.

5.3 Cord Storage

When the radiator is not in use or needs to be moved, wrap the power cord around the integrated cord storage reel located at the base of the unit for neat and safe storage.

6.1 Cleaning

• Always unplug the radiator and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
