5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Preparing the Bag
- Use only special vacuum sealer bags or rolls. The included foil roll is 29 cm wide.

- Ensure the open end of the bag is clean and dry.
6.2. Vacuuming and Sealing
- Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel of the appliance. Ensure the bag lies flat and is not wrinkled.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.
- The appliance will automatically begin the vacuuming process. The green pilot light will illuminate.
- Once the air is removed, the appliance will automatically switch to the sealing function. The red pilot light will illuminate.
- When the sealing process is complete, both pilot lights will turn off.
- Open the lid and remove the sealed bag.
6.3. Sealing Only (without vacuuming)
- Place the open end of the bag over the sealing wire, ensuring it is positioned correctly.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.
- The red pilot light will illuminate, indicating the sealing process.
- Once the sealing is complete, the red pilot light will turn off.
- Open the lid and remove the sealed bag.
Note: For liquids or moist foods, it is recommended to pre-freeze them or use a container with the vacuum sealer if available, to prevent liquids from being drawn into the vacuum pump.
