3. Setup

Before the first use, and periodically thereafter, it is important to clean your water container to ensure water quality.

  1. Initial Rinse: Unscrew the main cap and remove the pour spout. Thoroughly rinse the inside of the container and the pour spout with clean, warm water.
  2. Sanitization (Optional but Recommended): For enhanced hygiene, prepare a sanitizing solution by mixing 1 teaspoon of unscented household bleach with 1 gallon of water. Pour the solution into the container, ensuring all interior surfaces are coated. Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
  3. Final Rinse: Empty the sanitizing solution and rinse the container and spout thoroughly with fresh, clean water multiple times until no bleach odor remains.
  4. Air Dry: Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

4. Operating Instructions

  4. Once filled, securely screw the main cap back onto the container.

  1. Unscrew the main cap and remove the stored pour spout.
