Setup

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, plug the timer into a live electrical outlet for at least 30 minutes to charge the internal battery backup. This ensures settings are retained during power interruptions.
  2. Reset: Use a small pointed object (like a pen tip) to press the RESET button located on the front panel. The display will show "0:00" and all previous settings will be cleared.
  3. Mounting: If desired, use the keyhole on the back of the timer to mount it securely to a wall or other surface. Ensure it is in a location protected from direct heavy weather.
  4. Connect Devices: Plug the appliances you wish to control into the three grounded outlets on the side of the timer.

1. Setting Current Time and Day

  1. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds until the display flashes.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the current hour. Press SET to confirm.
  3. Repeat for minutes and then for the current day of the week (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
  4. Press SET to exit time setting mode.

2. Programming On/Off Times (Up to 20 Programs)

  1. Press the SET button once briefly. The display will show "1 ON".
  2. Use UP or DOWN to select the desired hour for the first ON time. Press SET.
  3. Adjust minutes using UP or DOWN. Press SET.
  4. Select the days for this program (e.g., MO-FR, SA-SU, or individual days) using UP or DOWN. Press SET.
  5. The display will now show "1 OFF". Repeat steps 2-4 to set the OFF time for the first program.
  6. Continue pressing SET to cycle through "2 ON", "2 OFF", up to "20 ON", "20 OFF" to set additional programs.
  7. To exit programming mode, press the ON/OFF button.

3. Dusk-to-Dawn (D2D) Mode

This mode uses an optical sensor to turn the timer ON at dusk and OFF after a set duration.

  1. Press the D2D button. The display will show "D2D" and "ON".
  2. Press D2D again to cycle through OFF durations: 1H, 2H, 3H, ..., 12H. Select the desired duration.
  3. The timer will now activate at dusk and turn off after the selected number of hours.
  4. To deactivate D2D mode, press D2D until "OFF" is displayed.

4. Random (RND) Mode

The Random mode varies programmed ON/OFF times by a short, unpredictable interval to simulate occupancy.

5. Daylight Saving Time (DST)

Adjusts the clock forward or backward by one hour for Daylight Saving Time.

To manually turn the connected devices ON or OFF without affecting programmed settings:
