4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cap, typically at the rear or side of the flashlight head.
  2. Unscrew or unlatch the cap carefully.
  3. Insert four (4) 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cap. For water resistance, ensure the O-ring seal is clean and properly seated before tightening.

4.2 Headband Adjustment

The SUBHEAD flashlight comes with an adjustable headband for comfortable wear. Adjust the straps to fit snugly around your head or helmet. The flashlight unit can be tilted to direct the light beam as needed.

The SUBHEAD flashlight features a magnetic rotary switch for easy operation, even with gloves or underwater.

  1. To Turn On: Rotate the magnetic switch clockwise from the OFF position.
  2. To Select Modes: Continue rotating the switch to cycle through available lighting modes (e.g., full brightness, emergency flashing).
  3. To Turn Off: Rotate the magnetic switch counter-clockwise back to the OFF position.
