2. Installing Remote Controller Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 6 x AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Pairing the Helicopter and Remote

  1. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the helicopter's power switch. The helicopter's indicator light will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote controller's power switch. The remote's indicator light will flash.
  4. Push the throttle stick (left stick) all the way up, then pull it all the way down.
  5. Both the helicopter and remote indicator lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing. You are now ready to fly.

Operating

Basic Flight Controls

  • Throttle (Left Stick Up/Down): Increases or decreases the main rotor speed, controlling the helicopter's altitude (ascend/descend).
  • Direction (Right Stick Up/Down): Moves the helicopter forward or backward.
  • Direction (Right Stick Left/Right): Rotates the helicopter left or right (yaw).

Trimming for Stable Flight

If the helicopter rotates left or right uncontrollably while hovering, use the trim buttons on the remote control to correct it.

  • If the helicopter spins to the left, press the right trim button repeatedly until it hovers steadily.
  • If the helicopter spins to the right, press the left trim button repeatedly until it hovers steadily.

First Flight Tips

  • Start by practicing hovering at a low altitude (about 1 meter) to get a feel for the controls.
  • Make small, gentle adjustments to the sticks. Sudden movements can cause instability.
  • If you lose control, immediately cut the throttle to minimize potential damage from a crash.
  • Ensure the flight area is clear of drafts from windows, fans, or air conditioning, as these can affect stability.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Blade Inspection: Regularly check the main and tail rotor blades for cracks or damage. Replace damaged blades with the provided spare or genuine replacement parts.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the helicopter and remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For long-term storage, ensure the helicopter's battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan. Remove batteries from the remote controller if not used for extended periods.
