3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Connect the air tube from the cuff securely into the air jack on the side of the main unit.
  2. Place the cuff on your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow joint. The artery mark on the cuff should align with your brachial artery (inner side of the arm).
  3. Ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably under the cuff.
  4. The bottom edge of the cuff should be about 2 cm above the elbow.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Taking a Measurement

The Microlife 3AG1 features one-touch operation for ease of use.

  1. Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate.
  4. The device will detect your pulse and measure your blood pressure using the oscillometric method with fuzzy logic.
  5. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
  6. Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically switch off after approximately one minute of inactivity.

4.2 Memory Function

The device stores previous measurements for tracking your blood pressure over time.
