Auxiliary Input

The Z200 speakers feature an auxiliary input (AUX) on the front of the right speaker, allowing you to connect a second device simultaneously, such as another smartphone or MP3 player, without disconnecting your primary audio source.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Logitech Z200 speakers, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
  • Placement: Place speakers on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental falls. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in excessively humid environments.
  • Cables: Ensure all cables are securely connected and not kinked or pinched, which could lead to damage or signal loss.
  • Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, disconnect them from power and store them in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Logitech Z200 speakers, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure the speakers are powered on and the volume knob is turned up. The power indicator light on the right speaker should be green.
    • Verify that the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected to both the speaker and your audio source.
    • Check the volume settings on your audio source (computer, smartphone, etc.) to ensure it is not muted or set too low.
    • If headphones are plugged into the speaker's headphone jack, unplug them to enable speaker output.
  • Distorted Sound:
    • Reduce the volume on both the speakers and your audio source. High volume levels can cause distortion.
    • Adjust the 'TONE' dial on the side of the right speaker. Excessive bass can sometimes lead to distortion.
    • Ensure the audio cable is not damaged or loosely connected.
  • Speakers Not Powering On:
    • Confirm the power adapter is securely plugged into both the speaker and a working wall outlet.
    • Try plugging the power adapter into a different wall outlet to rule out an issue with the power source.
