This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Nescafé Gold Blend Barista coffee machine, Model PM9631. 1. Setup
1.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Before first use, clean the water tank, milk frother, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

1.2 Water Tank Filling
Locate the water tank (capacity: 0.8L) at the back of the machine. Remove the lid and fill with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX line. Replace the lid securely.
1.3 Power Connection
Connect the power cord to a suitable 100V 50/60Hz electrical outlet. The machine has a power consumption of 1460W.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Powering On
Press the power button to turn on the machine. Allow a few moments for the machine to heat up. The indicator light will signal when it is ready for use.
2.2 Preparing Coffee Beverages
The Nescafé Gold Blend Barista offers five coffee menu options with simple button operation:
- Black Coffee: Standard black coffee.
- Black Coffee (Mug Size): Larger serving of black coffee.
- Espresso Type Coffee: A concentrated coffee with a rich crema.
- Cappuccino: Coffee with frothed milk.
- Caffé Latte: Coffee with steamed milk.
Insert the compatible Nescafé Gold Blend or Nescafé Eco & System Pack refill into the designated compartment. Place your cup on the drip tray and select your desired beverage using the control buttons.

2.3 Milk Frothing
The machine is equipped with a milk frother to create fluffy, hot milk for cappuccino and latte. Follow the specific instructions for milk preparation as indicated by the machine's controls for milk-based beverages.
2.4 Compatible Products
This machine is designed for use with Nescafé Gold Blend and Nescafé Eco & System Pack refills. It is not compatible with bagged or bottled eco-system packs, regular ground coffee, or Nescafé Exella products.

2.5 Warm Cup Mode
To enhance the taste of your coffee, the machine is equipped with a warm cup mode. Utilize this feature to pre-warm your cup before brewing.
2.6 Auto Power Off
For energy saving and safety, the machine features an auto power off function that activates approximately 5 minutes after the last use.
3. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee machine. The machine is designed for easy partial decomposition, making cleaning simple.
3.1 Daily Cleaning
- Empty and clean the drip tray after each use.
- Rinse the milk frother components thoroughly after preparing milk-based drinks.
- Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
3.2 Water Tank Cleaning
Clean the water tank regularly with warm, soapy water to prevent mineral buildup. Rinse well before refilling.
3.3 Descaling
Depending on water hardness, periodic descaling may be necessary. Refer to the manufacturer's website or contact customer support for recommended descaling procedures and products.
