Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Voice Caddie VC 300. The device contains an integrated rechargeable lithium polymer battery with an approximate battery life of 9 hours on a full charge.

  1. Connect the small end of the supplied USB charging cable to the charging port on the Voice Caddie VC 300.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

2. Powering On/Off

Operating Instructions

1. Automatic Course and Hole Recognition

Upon powering on, the Voice Caddie VC 300 will automatically search for and recognize the golf course you are playing on. It will also automatically advance to the correct hole as you progress through your round. Ensure you are outdoors with a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS signal acquisition.

2. Voice Distance Guidance

The primary function of the VC 300 is to provide voice-guided distances. Simply tap the device's touchpad to hear the distance to the front, center, and back of the green. The device is designed for intuitive, hands-free operation.

3. Shot Distance Measurement

To measure your shot distance:

  1. At your starting position (e.g., tee box or where you hit your shot), tap the device's touchpad. The device will announce "Shot distance measurement started" or a similar phrase.
  2. Walk to where your ball landed.
  3. Tap the device's touchpad again. The device will announce the measured distance of your shot.

4. Volume Control

The Voice Caddie VC 300 includes volume control. Specific gestures or button presses may be required to adjust the volume. Refer to the device's quick start guide or on-screen prompts (if any) for detailed instructions on volume adjustment.

5. Language Settings and Course Updates

The device supports 8 languages and international courses.
