3. Setup and Loading

3.1 Loading BBs

The Powerline 415 features a built-in magazine. To load BBs:

  1. Ensure the pistol's safety is engaged.
  2. Locate the BB loading port, typically on the top or side of the pistol.
  3. Pull back the follower spring to its locked position, if applicable.
  4. Carefully pour up to 21 .177 caliber BBs into the loading port.
  5. Release the follower spring to secure the BBs in the magazine.

3.2 Inserting CO2 Cartridge

The Powerline 415 uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge. To install:

  1. Ensure the pistol's safety is engaged and it is unloaded.
  2. Locate the CO2 compartment, typically in the grip.
  3. Open the grip panel or unscrew the CO2 cap.
  4. Insert a new 12-gram CO2 cartridge with the narrow neck facing upwards.
  5. Tighten the CO2 cap or close the grip panel firmly until the cartridge is pierced and you hear a hiss, indicating a seal. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Firing the Pistol

  1. With BBs loaded and a CO2 cartridge installed, ensure the safety is engaged.
  2. Point the pistol in a safe direction, towards a suitable target.
  3. Disengage the manual trigger block safety.
  4. Aim using the fixed sights.
  5. Gently squeeze the trigger to fire. The pistol operates in semi-automatic mode, allowing for rapid follow-up shots until the magazine is empty or the CO2 is depleted.
  6. After firing, engage the safety immediately.

4.2 Safety Mechanism

The Daisy Powerline 415 is equipped with a manual trigger block safety. This safety mechanism prevents the trigger from being pulled when engaged. Always ensure the safety is engaged when the pistol is not actively being fired and when handling or storing the airgun.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Cleaning

  • After each use, wipe down the exterior of the pistol with a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture.
