Setup
1. Inserting the Battery Pack
- Open the battery cover located on the side of the recorder.
- Insert the supplied NP-BX1 battery pack with the correct orientation.
- Close the battery cover securely.
2. Inserting a Memory Card
The HDR-MV1 supports Micro SD cards. A memory card is required for recording.
- Open the memory card slot cover.
- Insert a compatible Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- Close the memory card slot cover.
3. Charging the Battery
Use the supplied micro USB cable to charge the battery. Connect one end to the recorder's MULTI terminal and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., AC adapter, computer USB port).

4. Powering On/Off

5. Connecting to a Smartphone (Wi-Fi/NFC)
