2. Setup Guide
2.1 Unpacking and Contents Check
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that the following items are present:

- Receipt Paper Roll (starter roll)
2.2 Connecting the Power
- Ensure the printer's power switch is in the OFF (O) position.
- Connect the power cord to the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter's output connector into the power input port on the back of the printer.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
2.3 Connecting the Data Cable (Serial)
The SRP-350II features a serial interface for connectivity.
- Locate the serial port on the back of the printer.
- Connect a compatible serial cable (sold separately) from your host device (e.g., computer, POS system) to the printer's serial port.
- Secure the cable connections if necessary.
2.4 Loading Receipt Paper
- Open the paper roll cover by lifting the latch or pressing the release button.
- Insert the new paper roll into the paper compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll.
- Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter.
- Close the paper roll cover firmly until it clicks into place.

4.1 Cleaning the Print Head

- Open the paper roll cover.
- Using a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol, gently wipe the thermal elements of the print head. Avoid touching the print head with bare hands.
- Allow the print head to dry completely before closing the cover and reconnecting power.
4.2 Cleaning the Platen Roller
The platen roller helps feed the paper smoothly. Clean it if paper jams occur frequently or if paper feeding becomes inconsistent.
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Open the paper roll cover.
- Using a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol, gently clean the surface of the rubber platen roller.
- Rotate the roller manually to clean the entire surface.
- Allow it to dry completely before closing the cover and reconnecting power.
4.3 General Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Power

- Ensure the paper path is clear before reloading the paper roll and closing the cover.

- The paper roll may be old or of poor quality. Replace it with a new, high-quality thermal paper roll.

- Ensure the paper roll is inserted correctly, with the thermal side facing the print head.
