Important Safety Information
Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the pressure washer. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Keep children and bystanders away while operating the pressure washer. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, when operating the unit.
Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to properly set up your Pulsar PWE1600 Electrical Pressure Washer:
- Unboxing and Component Check: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out and verify that all parts are present according to the packing list.
- Wheel Installation: Attach the wheels to the designated slots at the base of the pressure washer unit. Ensure they are firmly secured for stability.
- Handle Assembly: Assemble the handle components and attach them to the main unit. Secure them using the provided fasteners, typically screws, as shown in the assembly video.
- Water Inlet Connection: Connect your garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
- High-Pressure Hose Connection: Connect the high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer unit.
- Spray Gun Assembly: Depending on your model, assemble the spray gun. For Gun Type 1, attach the wand directly to the gun handle. For Gun Type 2, connect the high-pressure hose to the gun handle, then attach the desired nozzle or wand.
- Purge Air from System: Before turning on the power, ensure the water supply is fully open and squeeze the trigger on the spray gun until a steady stream of water flows from the nozzle. This purges air from the pump, preventing damage.

Operating Instructions
The Pulsar PWE1600 offers versatile cleaning options through its various nozzle types and features:
Nozzle Types and Applications:

- Fan: Delivers a broad, fan-shaped spray for general cleaning of larger surfaces.
- Turbo: Creates a powerful, rotating pinpoint stream for aggressive cleaning of stubborn dirt.
- Pinpoint: Produces a concentrated, high-pressure stream for precise cleaning of small, tough areas.
- 1800PSI Adjustable Nozzle (for Gun Type 2): This nozzle allows for quick adjustment of the spray pattern from a wide fan to a concentrated stream. It also features a low-pressure setting for soap application.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer:
- Clean Nozzles: Periodically clean the nozzles to prevent blockages and maintain consistent spray patterns. Use the provided nozzle cleaning tool if necessary.
- Inspect Hoses and Connections: Before each use, check all hoses and connections for wear, kinks, or leaks. Replace damaged parts immediately.
- Winter Storage: If storing the unit in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the pump and hoses to prevent damage. Consider using a pump protector.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pressure washer, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working GFCI outlet. Check the circuit breaker.
- Low Pressure: Verify that the water supply is fully open and that the garden hose is not kinked or blocked. Check for air in the system (purge as per setup instructions). Clean the nozzle for any obstructions.
- Water Leaks: Tighten all hose connections. Inspect O-rings and seals for damage and replace if necessary.
- Motor Runs Continuously: This may indicate a leak in the system or a faulty unloader valve. Check all connections and hoses for leaks.
