2. Safety Instructions

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the alarm clock radio from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.

3.2 Power Connection
Connect the AC power cord to the power input on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard AC 230V 50Hz wall outlet. The display will light up.
3.3 Backup Battery Installation (Optional)
For time and alarm settings retention during a power outage, install a backup battery (not included) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-).
3.4 Initial Time and Date Setting
Upon first power-on or after a power outage without backup battery, the display will show a default time.
- Press and hold the CLK.ADJ button (Clock Adjust) located on the top panel.
- While holding CLK.ADJ, use the +/- buttons (often combined with tuning or volume) to adjust the hour.
- Press CLK.ADJ again to move to minute adjustment, then use +/-.
- Continue pressing CLK.ADJ to cycle through Year, Month, and Date settings, adjusting each with the +/- buttons.
- Release CLK.ADJ to save settings.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Time and Date Display
The large 1.2" (3 cm) LED display shows the current time. You can cycle through time, date, and indoor temperature display modes by pressing the DISPLAY button.
4.2 FM Radio Operation
- Press the POWER button (often combined with MHz) to turn on the radio.
- Use the +/- buttons to manually tune to your desired FM frequency.
- To auto-scan for stations, press and hold the +/- buttons.
- To save a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press and hold the MEM.SET button until the display flashes. Use +/- to select a preset number, then press MEM.SET again to confirm.
- To recall a saved station, press the MEM.SET button repeatedly to cycle through presets.
- Adjust volume using the dedicated volume buttons (if present) or the +/- buttons in radio mode.
4.3 Alarm Functions (Dual Alarm)
The unit features two independent alarms (ALARM 1 and ALARM 2).
Setting an Alarm:
- Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired alarm hour, then press the alarm button again to confirm.
- Use +/- to set the alarm minute, then press the alarm button again to confirm.
- Select the alarm source (Buzzer or Radio) using +/-, then press the alarm button to confirm. If Radio is selected, the last tuned radio station will be used.
- To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding AL1 or AL2 button on the front/side of the unit. An indicator will appear on the display when active.
Weekend Cancellation:
Some models allow for weekend alarm cancellation. Refer to the specific button or menu option for this feature, usually accessible during alarm setting or by a dedicated button.
Snooze Function:
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (often a large button on top) to temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
Sleep Function:
The sleep function allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through preset sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
4.4 Display Brightness Adjustment
Press the DIMMER button to adjust the brightness of the LED display between High and Low settings.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the unit, wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
5.2 Battery Replacement
If the backup battery is installed and the time is not retained during a power outage, replace the battery in the compartment on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.
