5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting and Stopping
To start the unit, ensure it is properly assembled and connected to power. Locate the ON/OFF switch on the handle. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. To stop, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Blower Operation
In blower mode, the unit generates an air stream up to 225 mph. Use this mode to clear leaves, grass clippings, and light debris from hard surfaces, lawns, and garden beds. The two-speed motor allows for greater control; use the lower speed for delicate areas and the higher speed for stubborn debris.
5.3 Vacuum and Shredder Operation
When configured for vacuum mode, the unit draws in leaves and debris, which are then shredded by the impeller before being collected in the attached bag. This reduces the volume of debris, with a reduction ratio of up to 10:1. Move the vacuum nozzle slowly over the area to be cleaned. Avoid vacuuming wet leaves or large, hard objects to prevent clogging or damage to the impeller.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Toro Super Blower/Vacuum.
- Cleaning: After each use, unplug the unit and clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove any debris from the air intake vents and discharge opening.
- Impeller Inspection: Periodically check the impeller for any lodged debris. Always ensure the unit is unplugged before attempting to clear any obstructions.
- Storage: Store the unit in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Disassemble tubes for compact storage if desired.
- Cord Care: Inspect the power cord and extension cord for cuts, fraying, or damage before each use. Replace damaged cords immediately.
