Operating Instructions: Creating a Gift Bag

Follow these steps to create a custom gift bag:

1. Trim Paper: Trim your paper to the desired width (5-10" for small, 8-11" for medium, 10-12" for large) and a length between 4" and 12".
2. Align and Punch: Align the left edge of your paper to the "START LINE" on the punch board. Press the punch down firmly.
3. Score Lines: Using the scoring tool, score along the horizontal line and then along the designated "S", "M", or "L" line (depending on your desired bag size).
4. Shift and Repeat: Move the paper to the left until the previously scored "S", "M", or "L" line aligns with the triangular guide on the punch board. Punch again. Score the horizontal line, the triangular side line, and the "S", "M", or "L" line. Repeat this process until all sides are punched and scored.
5. Cut Tabs: Use scissors to cut the tab edges at an angle, as indicated by the score lines.
6. Fold and Glue: Fold along all scored lines. Apply adhesive (e.g., double-sided tape or strong wet glue) to the side flap and the bottom tabs. Securely press the seams together to form the bag.
