Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Topping TP-32EX amplifier:
1. Connect Speakers
Connect your passive speakers to the speaker output terminals on the rear panel of the TP-32EX. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative) for both left (L OUT) and right (R OUT) channels.

2. Connect Audio Sources
- USB-DAC Connection: Connect the provided USB cable from the USB B port on the rear of the TP-32EX to a USB port on your computer. This enables the amplifier's built-in DAC for digital audio playback.
- Analog Input (AUX IN): For analog audio sources (e.g., CD player, media player), connect an RCA cable from your source's output to the "AUX IN" RCA ports on the rear panel.
3. Connect Headphones
Plug your headphones into the 6.35mm headphone jack located on the front panel. If your headphones have a 3.5mm plug, use the included 6.35mm to 3.5mm adapter.
4. Connect Power
Connect the power adapter to the 12V DC input on the rear panel of the TP-32EX, then plug the power cable into a wall outlet. The unit will power on or enter standby mode.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press the power button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.
- When connected via USB, the TP-32EX can synchronize its power state with your computer.
Input Selection
Use the input selector button on the front panel or the remote control to switch between the USB-DAC input and the AUX IN (analog) input.
Volume Control
- Adjust the volume using the rotary knob on the front panel or the volume up/down buttons on the remote control.
- The LED display will show the current volume level.
- The volume fade feature helps prevent sudden loud sounds when powering on or changing inputs.
Headphone Output
When headphones are plugged into the front panel jack, the speaker outputs will typically be muted automatically. Unplug the headphones to resume audio playback through the speakers.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
- Ventilation: Ensure the amplifier has adequate ventilation. Do not block the ventilation slots on the chassis.
