Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the speaker from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement:
    • For optimal sound dispersion, place the speaker on a stable, flat surface or mount it on a standard 35-mm speaker pole using the integrated pole socket.
    • If using as a floor monitor, tilt the speaker on its side.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Avoid placing it in enclosed spaces.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the AC inlet on the rear panel of the speaker and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before connecting.
  4. Input Connections:
    • Microphone/Line Inputs: Use XLR or 1/4" TRS cables to connect microphones, instruments, or line-level devices to the respective input channels on the rear panel.
    • Wireless Microphone System: If using a BEHRINGER digital wireless microphone system (not included), follow its specific setup instructions for connection to the dedicated wireless port.
    • Bluetooth: For wireless audio streaming, ensure your Bluetooth-compatible device is ready for pairing.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your audio device (smartphone, tablet, computer, etc.).
  3. On the speaker's rear panel, press and hold the "PAIR" button until the Bluetooth indicator LED begins to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  4. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices. Select "BEHRINGER B112W" from the list.
  5. Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator LED on the speaker will glow solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device.
  6. To disconnect, either turn off Bluetooth on your device or press and hold the "PAIR" button on the speaker again.

Wireless Microphone System (Optional):

The B112W is compatible with BEHRINGER's ULTRALINK ULM series digital wireless microphone systems. Refer to the specific user manual for your ULM system for detailed pairing and operation instructions. Connect the ULM receiver to the dedicated USB port on the speaker's rear panel.
