Setup
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the KVM tray from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of physical damage that may have occurred during transit. Ensure all accessories listed in the "Package Contents" section are present.
2. Rack Mounting
The ServView V KVM Tray is designed for installation in a standard 19-inch server rack. Use the provided rackmount kit to secure the unit. The dual-rail design allows the display and keyboard/touchpad to slide independently.
- Attach the mounting rails to the sides of the KVM tray using the screws provided.
- Align the rails with the rack posts and secure them using the appropriate rack screws.
- Ensure the tray slides smoothly in and out of the rack.

3. Connecting Peripherals
Connect your server or computer to the KVM tray using the appropriate cables.
- Video Connection: Connect a DVI or VGA cable from your server's video output to the corresponding input port on the KVM tray.
- Keyboard/Mouse Connection: Connect a USB cable or PS/2 cables (for keyboard and mouse) from your server to the corresponding input ports on the KVM tray.

4. Power Connection

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On
Once all connections are secure, power on the KVM tray using its power switch. Then, power on the connected server(s).
2. Basic Operation
The KVM tray provides a direct interface to the connected server. The integrated keyboard, touchpad, and display function as the console for the server.
- Display: The 17-inch LCD panel will show the video output from the connected server.
