5. Setup

5.1 Placement

  • Place the LS-T10 on a stable, flat surface directly under your television.
  • Ensure the unit is centered with your TV for optimal sound dispersion.
  • Leave adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
  • If your TV is heavy, ensure the surface can support both the TV and the LS-T10 (the LS-T10 supports TVs up to 77 lbs).
  • Apply the included insulation pads to the bottom of the LS-T10 to reduce TV vibration.

5.2 Connections

  1. Connect to TV: Use the supplied optical digital audio cable to connect the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV to the OPTICAL IN port on the LS-T10. If your TV does not have an optical output, use a coaxial digital audio cable or an analog audio cable (3.5mm stereo mini-jack).
  2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into the AC IN jack on the LS-T10, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the remote control or the unit to turn the system on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote or unit to adjust the sound level.
  • Input Selection: Press the INPUT button on the remote or unit to cycle through available inputs (Optical, Coaxial, Analog, Bluetooth, USB).
  • Sound Modes: Press the MOVIE, MUSIC, or NEWS buttons on the remote to select the desired sound mode.

6.2 Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Press the INPUT button until "Bluetooth" is selected. The Bluetooth indicator on the unit will flash.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or PC, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "ONKYO LS-T10" from the list of devices. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow steadily.
  4. Start playing audio on your device, and it will stream wirelessly to the LS-T10.

6.3 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the LS-T10.
  2. Press the INPUT button until "USB" is selected.
  3. The system will automatically begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive. Use the remote control to skip tracks or pause playback.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Periodically check that the ventilation openings are not obstructed by dust or debris.
