4.1 Electronic Banking Unit
This unit replaces traditional cash. All money transactions, including collecting salary, paying rent, buying properties, and paying taxes, are processed through this device. Each player has a unique bank card that is swiped into the unit to manage their funds.

4.2 Bank Cards
Each player receives a bank card to store their money electronically. These cards are essential for all transactions within the game.
4.3 Title Deed Cards
These cards represent properties on the gameboard. When you buy a property, you receive its corresponding Title Deed card, which details rent prices, mortgage value, and building costs.
4.4 Chance and Community Chest Cards
These cards introduce unexpected events, offering opportunities for gains, losses, or special instructions that can change the course of the game.
4.5 Tokens, Houses, and Hotels
Tokens represent players on the board. Houses and Hotels are used to develop properties, increasing the rent collected from other players.
5. How to Play (Operating)
5.1 Game Objective
The goal of Monopoly Electronic Banking is to be the last player remaining with money when all other players have gone bankrupt.
5.2 Taking a Turn
- Roll both dice.
- Move your token clockwise the number of spaces indicated by the dice.
- Perform the action corresponding to the space you landed on.
- If you rolled doubles, you take another turn. Roll doubles three times in a row, and you go directly to Jail.
5.3 Landing on Spaces
- Unowned Property: You may buy the property for the price listed on the board. To buy, swipe your card, enter the property price, and press the red "M" button. The bank's card is used to receive the funds. If you choose not to buy, the property is immediately put up for auction by the Banker.
- Owned Property: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent. The Electronic Banking Unit facilitates this transfer. Swipe your card, enter the rent amount, and press the red "M" button. The owner then swipes their card and presses the green arrow button to receive the funds.
- Chance or Community Chest: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
- GO: When you pass or land on "GO", collect M2,000,000 from the bank. Swipe your card, enter "2000000", and press the green arrow button.
- Just Visiting/Jail: "Just Visiting" is a free space. If you land on "Go to Jail", move your token directly to the Jail space and end your turn. You cannot collect salary if you pass "GO" on the way to Jail.
- Taxes: Pay the specified tax amount to the bank using the Electronic Banking Unit.
5.4 Building Houses and Hotels
Once you own all properties in a color set, you can start building Houses and Hotels. Houses must be built evenly across properties in a set. Once you have four houses on all properties in a set, you can upgrade to a Hotel. Use the Electronic Banking Unit to pay for buildings.
5.5 Mortgaging Properties
You can mortgage properties to raise money. The mortgage value is listed on the Title Deed card. Mortgaged properties do not collect rent. To unmortgage, pay the mortgage value plus 10% interest.
6. Game End
The game ends when only one player remains. All other players who run out of money and cannot pay their debts are bankrupt and out of the game. The last player remaining is the winner.
7. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The Electronic Banking Unit requires 2 "AAA" batteries. Replace them when the display becomes dim or unresponsive.
- Cleaning: Wipe the gameboard and plastic components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store all game components in their designated compartments within the game box to prevent loss or damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- Electronic Unit Not Responding: Check if batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary. Ensure the bank card is fully inserted and swiped correctly.
- Incorrect Balance: Double-check all recent transactions. The Electronic Banking Unit is designed for accuracy, but manual entry errors can occur.
- Missing Components: Refer to the "What's Included" section. Contact Hasbro customer support if essential components are missing from a new game.
