4. Installation
4.1. Mounting Location
Install the thermostat on an inside wall, approximately 5 feet (1.5m) above the floor. Avoid locations that are:
- Near windows or doors.
- Above or near heat-generating appliances.
- In direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Near supply registers or return air ducts.
- In areas with poor air circulation.
4.2. Removing the Old Thermostat
- Turn off power to your heating and cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker.
- Remove the cover of your old thermostat.
- Take a picture of the existing wiring connections for reference. This is crucial for correct installation.

After wiring, gently push any excess wire back into the wall opening. Attach the thermostat body to the wall plate.

Insert the two AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-). The thermostat will power on and display initial settings.

5. Operation
5.1. Thermostat Overview
