4.1. Mounting Location

Install the thermostat on an inside wall, approximately 5 feet (1.5m) above the floor. Avoid locations that are:

  2. Remove the cover of your old thermostat.
  3. Take a picture of the existing wiring connections for reference. This is crucial for correct installation.

  5. Remove the old thermostat's mounting plate.

After wiring, gently push any excess wire back into the wall opening. Attach the thermostat body to the wall plate.

Insert the two AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-). The thermostat will power on and display initial settings.
