Controls and Features:

5. Initial Setup
5.1 Powering the Unit
- Insert 1 AA battery (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Ensure correct polarity (+ and -). This battery provides backup power in case of a power outage.
- Connect the AC power adapter (if included, or use a standard USB power adapter if the clock has a USB power input) to the DC IN port on the back of the clock and then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.
5.2 Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME button until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the PM indicator if setting a 12-hour format.
- Press the MIN button repeatedly to adjust the minutes.
- Once the desired time is set, press the SET/RESET button to confirm and exit time setting mode.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALM button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the MIN button repeatedly to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Once the desired alarm time is set, press the SET/RESET button to confirm and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm indicator light (usually an icon or 'ALM') will illuminate on the display, indicating the alarm is active.
6.2 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, ensure the alarm indicator light is on. If it's off, press the ALM button once briefly to toggle it on.
- To deactivate the alarm, press the ALM button once briefly to toggle the alarm indicator light off.
6.3 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 9-10 minutes). You can repeat this function multiple times.
6.4 Stopping the Alarm
To stop the alarm completely after it sounds (without snoozing), press the SET/RESET button. The alarm will reset for the next day at the set time, provided the alarm function remains active.
7. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: If the display dims or the backup function fails during a power outage, replace the AA battery in the compartment on the back.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
