Thank you for choosing the Kingone K5 Bluetooth Portable Speaker. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your device. Please read these instructions carefully before operating the speaker and retain them for future reference. The Kingone K5 offers high-quality audio with versatile connectivity options, including Bluetooth, AUX, and Micro SD card playback.

Important Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty.
  • Keep the speaker away from water and other liquids.
  • Use only the specified charging cable and power adapter.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Control Layout:

  • Power Button: Located on the rear panel. Press to turn on/off.
  • Mode Button: On the top panel. Press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, and TF Card modes.
  • Play/Pause Button: Central circular button on the top panel.
  • Previous/Next Track Buttons: On the top panel, used to navigate tracks.
  • Volume Control: Rotate your finger around the central circular button on the top panel to adjust volume.
  • LINE IN Port: For connecting external audio devices via AUX cable.
  • TF CARD Slot: For playing music directly from a Micro SD (TF) card.
  • Micro USB Port: For charging the speaker.

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the Micro USB cable to the charging port on the rear of the speaker (Figure 2).
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
  4. A full charge provides approximately 1000mAh of battery life.

2. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button on the rear panel until you hear an audible prompt.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the Mode button on the top panel until you hear the "Bluetooth mode" prompt. The indicator light will flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Kingone K5" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the Kingone K5 speaker.

2. Connecting via AUX (Line In)

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (AUX cable) to the LINE IN port on the rear of the speaker (Figure 2).
  2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the headphone jack or audio output port of your external audio device.
  3. Press the Mode button on the top panel until you hear the "AUX mode" prompt.
  4. Audio will now play through the speaker from your connected device.

3. Playing from Micro SD (TF) Card

  1. Insert a Micro SD (TF) card with audio files into the TF CARD slot on the rear of the speaker (Figure 2).
  2. Press the Mode button on the top panel until you hear the "TF Card mode" prompt.
  3. The speaker will automatically begin playing music from the card.

4. Volume Control

To adjust the volume, gently rotate your finger clockwise around the central circular button on the top panel to increase volume, and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

5. Call Answering Function

  • When connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, the speaker can function as a speakerphone.
  • To enable/disable the auto-answer function, press and hold the Mode button. An intelligent voice prompt will confirm the status.
  • When auto-answer is enabled, incoming calls will be answered automatically after 3 seconds.
  • Music playback will automatically pause during a call and resume once the call ends.

Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Do not block the speaker grilles, as this can affect sound quality and airflow.

Troubleshooting

No Power / Speaker Not Turning On

  • Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a short press.

No Sound / Low Volume

  • Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the correct mode (Bluetooth, AUX, TF Card) is selected. Press the Mode button to cycle through modes.
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure the speaker is properly paired and connected to your device.
  • If using AUX, check that the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected to both the speaker and the audio source. Try a different cable if available.
  • If using a TF card, ensure the card is inserted correctly and contains compatible audio files.

Bluetooth Pairing Issues

  • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
  • Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (typically 10 meters).
  • Forget or remove "Kingone K5" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
  • Restart both the speaker and your Bluetooth device.

Distorted Sound

  • Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the audio source is not playing at an excessively high volume.
  • Check for interference from other electronic devices.
