Setup Instructions

1. Connecting Power

1. Ensure the printer's power switch is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the power supply unit to the printer's power input port.

2. Loading Paper

1. Open the printer's top cover by lifting the latch.
2. Insert a new thermal paper roll into the paper compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the printer.
3. Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter.
4. Close the top cover firmly until it latches. The "drop-in and print" design simplifies this process.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

The TSP650II BTi features a "JustWorks" SSP profile for easy pairing without requiring a passkey.

1. Ensure the printer is powered on.

Operating the Printer

Printing Receipts

• To clean the thermal print head, use a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen or a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Allow it to dry completely before powering on.
• Clean the paper path and cutter area to remove any paper dust or debris.

Paper Replacement

Replace the paper roll as soon as the "ERROR" light indicates a paper out condition or when the red line on the paper roll becomes visible, indicating the end of the roll is near. Refer to the "Loading Paper" section for detailed instructions.
