Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX level. Bring the water to a boil, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Positioning: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill the Kettle: Open the hinged lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark (0.6L) or above the MAX mark (1.7L) indicated on the water level window. Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
  2. Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating the kettle.
  3. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base.
  4. Start Boiling: Press the power switch down. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
  5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will extinguish, and the power switch will return to the "off" position.
  6. Serving: Carefully lift the kettle from its power base to pour. The cordless design allows for easy serving.
  7. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water immediately after it has boiled, wait a few seconds for the internal thermostat to reset before pressing the power switch again.

Boil-Dry Protection

Your kettle is equipped with a boil-dry protection feature. If the kettle is accidentally switched on without sufficient water, it will automatically turn off to prevent damage. If this occurs, unplug the kettle, allow it to cool down for 15-20 minutes, then refill with cold water and resume normal operation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your electric kettle.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface. Never immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
  3. Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance.
    • Fill the kettle with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
    • Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water.
    • For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
  4. Filter Cleaning: The removable mesh filter can be gently rinsed under running water to remove any loose scale or particles. Ensure it is properly re-inserted before use.
  5. Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a clean, dry place. The power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage area under the base.
