Safety Information

Setup and Installation

The ZLINE KZ-30 Range Hood is designed for wall-mount installation. It can be configured for ducted or ductless (recirculating) operation with optional charcoal filters.

Operating Instructions

The ZLINE KZ-30 features 4-speed touch-sensitive electronic controls and directional halogen lighting.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the range hood ON/OFF.
  • Fan Speed Buttons (1-4): Select desired fan speed. Speed 1 is the lowest, Speed 4 is the highest (760 CFM).
  • Light Button: Controls the halogen directional lights. Press once to turn ON, press again to turn OFF.
  • Timer/Auto-Shut-Off: Activates the timer function for automatic shut-off after a set period. Refer to the full manual for specific timer settings.

General Operation Tips:

  • Turn on the range hood a few minutes before cooking to establish airflow.
  • Use lower fan speeds for light cooking and higher speeds for heavy smoke or odors.

Cleaning the Baffle Filters:
